I had not expected this book to be SciFi since her other series was more magical. It wasn't bad. Just not what I expected.

3rd book published and 3rd in the timeline. Spent so much time on the romance it felt the story was a bit of an afterthought. Though it was still enjoyable to read.

1st story is about 3 match making Aunts.
2nd has a spell going wrong and a time snatched Musketeer.
3rd has a wishing well with a price.
Light and fun, but not my favorites.

This is a reprint of a book that was released in 2007. Good stories though. Angela Knights deals in a whole new world that I have never read any stories from.

Angela Knight's story introduced us to a new world that I would not mind reading a full length novel about.
I was surprised to enjoy Diane Whiteside's story since I generally do not enjoy stories that rewrite history by adding magic. But I did enjoy this one.
Emma Holly's story was hot. I think I may actually prefer her short stories to her full length since she knows how to draw you into a world fast and hit the lust hard.
This was my first time reading Lora Leigh and I think I will track down some of her other novels that use her world with the genetically engineered soldiers.

My son loved this book. It had enough goofy magic that he didn't even notice the lessons that are in this story. Instead he just enjoyed it. Then when he got to the discussion questions that are at the the end of the book he really thought about what the author was trying to teach in the book. I highly recommend this book and am getting a 2nd copy for his teacher's library.

Predictable, and yet, still a joy to read.

Description: Double the heat: the queens of super-sexy paranormal romance join forces for a one-of-kind novel.
Celeste and Corinne Carson are more than sisters-they're bestselling writers, each with a fantasy-fulfilling alpha-male hero. For Celeste, it's Jarred, a conqueror from the future. For Corinne, it's the barbarian Mykhayl from a world long ago. Devilishly sensual warriors, Jarred and Mykhayl have something in common themselves-they're both more real than their creators could have imagined. Fearing that the sisters are about to write them off, Jarred and Mykhayl decide to exact sweet revenge. The plan? Kidnap Celeste and Corinne, spirit them away to the very worlds of which they wrote, and persuade them to surrender to the sublime punishments of their own uninhibited imaginations.
Review: I'm not so fond of the whole kidnap me, tie me up and FORCE me to come type books, so I ended up more skimming for the story. The story itself was entertaining, but otherwise this book was a bit to much for me.

I just couldn't get into this book, which suprised me since I normally like Julie Kenner's writing.

While very well written and completely engrossing, I did not like the ending. I tend to get tired of authors that seem to be trying out how many horrible things they can do to their main charaters with no signs of future hope. I am holding out for a next book, but this one ended pretty grim and in a manner that it feels like the last.

While all the stories were not always fairytale happy, they did have happy endings and I enjoyed all three.
