I liked the way the authors showed that the rich and famous don't always get away with their bad behavior. The chapters are short as usual with Patterson and it makes for good reading. The main character, Jack is one smart cookie!

Each chapter is written from the view of one of the characters all about a murder in the Hamptons. It has quite a twist at the end. I thought it started out kind of slow but I was really anxious to get to the end as I read through it.

This book had me guessing. I liked this one better than the previous two.

The main character, Jane, was a woman who showed that she was human like everyone else when confronted with motherhood. She was a good cop and made the story more enjoyable. The tension throughout the book kept you turning the pages to see how it would all turn out.
