For those who started reading SF with "Neuromancer" in the 1980's, this book will be welcome. It is not the drivel of most novels today. Definitely look forward to another book from this author! This is SF at its roots. (Don't go by the cover art which seems to be the typical UrbFan cover art)

Beautiful artwork with lots of detail for little eyes to look at again and again. The books pages are a heavier weight than most children's books and this makes it easier for little hands to turn pages sans rips/tears. The sweet rhyming story brings in all the fairy tale characters and you get to follow the adventure with little windows to next page, with a n added delight of the window emphasizing a separate piece of artwork once the page has been turned. Highly recommended!

Book was a good read, with new slant on most science fiction. If you like Kristine Kathryn Rusch or Linnea Sinclair, you will probably like this. Characters have gotten off to a good start on development. I look forward to the sequel.

This is a terrific book and is very interactive. The art and writing is outstanding! There are actual ribbons in the colors of the rainbow . When the child opens to the first page there is a red ribbon and as the page is turned you can see the ribbon rainbow colors being "added" Page two has red and orange ribbon, etc. The 2.5 yr old does not try to destroy the book and at the end of the book is a paper pop-up rainbow.
