The Quantum Leap series is written by several different authors. This particular book is by Barbara Walton. The plot is a little thin and Ms Walton has a VERY annoying habit of placing a sentence in the middle of a sentence. This caused me to lose the meaning of the original intended message. Just my opinion, your mileage may vary.

The story line was interesting but the writing style and grammar was about 9th grade level.

I really wanted to like this book, it's set in Detroit and I spent 40 years of my life there. I know real world language can be rough but this author doesn't have much of a vocabulary, every descriptive word begins with an F. Definitely not my cup of tea.
