Terrible book. Too much desription of Liverpool. Leads to a very unsatisfying conclusion. You can read more at frominsidebedlam.blogspot.com.

This was a good thriller from Gord Rollo. Although at times I thought it became a little campy it was overall a good read from start to finish.

Really enjoyed this book. The author moves through time rather quickly. He doesn't bog you down in the minutia of people existing and their details. Very good for a 1951 sci-fi novella.

The premis of the book is great; a bizare freakshow carnival from another dimention sets up shop in near a small town every few years. Soon after the town disappears from the map. A government cover-up follows.
From there the book falls apart. There are too many quick storylines to follow and the ending is wrapped up way too fast and clean. I wanted to like the book but I just didn't.

While her investigations seem genuine, I was not sold on many of her conclusions. It is an interesting read, however her limited evidence was almost like hearsay.

Really entertaining. It is a look at the future of earth. After wars when consumerism wins out.
