I think I have read all of king's books but this is the first one that really * weirded* me out....very bloody...very graphic.....I kept reading it because I enjoyed the basic story..but there were times when I had to put it down and walk away from its *nightmare of the living dead* scenes.

After hearing so many great things about the movie, I decided to read this....it has given me much to think about....
was he simply a seeker that made a tragic choice....
or an idiot going off into the wild without proper planning and died because of it.
I will admit, even tho its been weeks since I've read his story.....it still haunts me....
maybe it always will.

this seems to be one of those books readers either go ga-ga over
or dont get at all...
I loved it.
I liked the author's style and the way she creatively broke up the chapters...
and I adore the idea that those that have passed over are watching us from a gazebo on the edge of heaven.

This was one of those books I didnt want to put down ....I read it while cooking dinner....I read it while drying my hair....I read it while standing in the line at the grocery store...I read it far into the wee hours of the night.
I've read most of the Odd Thomas series but this one is still my favorite.

the everyday realities of Marlow's life experiences are often surprising, shocking and disturbing...raised from childhood to doubt her own mind, she is struggling to succeed in her world...the * right thing to do* is not always crystal clear...a great psychological drama.
