One of the longest stories Kenyon has. Its acheron's (Ash's) story. Half of the book tells Ash's past which I believe was necessary for us who have read all of Kenyon's dark hunter's stories and were a little confused at times with Ash's actions and beliefs. By knowing his past I now truly understand how and why Ash acted the way he did. This story goes to show you how great a writer Kenyon is. Ash is one of my favorite characters, and there wasnt a moment while reading about his past that I didnt want to crawl into that story and really hurt those who hurt him. There wasnt a moment that I didnt want to protect him and ease his hurts. When an author is able to make her characters come so alive that her readers really like and route for them, she is truly great. One of her best. Worth the read.

this is a great book. Quinn, the hero is everything he should be: he's handsome, intelligent and has a great sense of humor. I loved this book and the one that came before it. There is one more left in the series that Ms. Hooper said is still in negotiation with the publisher. It is so worth the read!
