I disliked the book. I finished it in one night in a "this book is so bad I want to finish it and get it over with" way. The characters were not well developed. The book had alot of potential but the author neglected to fully flesh out the characters. Even the ending was sloppy.

Do not read this book while pregnant! I did so and had to force myself to calm down as I started freaking out what might be wrong with my baby-she was born healthy, thank God! As for the rest of the book-read My Sister's Keeper. It's basically the same storyline with just a few details changed. I've enjoyed some of Jodi Picoult's book but her style in recent years, including this book, has become very repetitive and dull.

I wanted to read this book as I love all things Tudor but was very disapointed. I was hoping for some insight into a figure that lurked in the background of several events. However, there was too much speculation. The author supposes quite a bit but doesn't present enough facts to back it up. If you wish to read more about the Tudor court-read David Starkey or Alison Weir.

I have always been interested in the Laci Peterson case and hopes that this book would contribute to my knowledge but I was very disappointed. There was some strict facts and little analysis. There was some slight speculation but theories were ridiculous. The author may have covered the trial but I was not impressed by his knowledge of the case. If you would like to read about this case, I would recommend "Deadly Game" or "Blood Brother".

An excellent telling of the Battle of the Little Big Horn-clear and easy to read. Well researched and tells all sides of the battle. Definitely worth reading!
