I picked this book up by chance from the library and it was a hilarious adventure from beginning to end. I thought that I wouldn't empathize with a thrice married psychic as a main character, but she was immediately running away with the story.
The cast of characters only added to the fun. The plot rolled along and new twists were added with truly hysterical dialog and situational comedy. What a fun book. I will be looking for more books by Mary Carter.

I really did NOT like these arrangements and they were insanely high.

I was very surprised by the twists and turns in the story. Even though you see each character clearly, they are hiding things that are revealed later. The plot continues to unwind and you start to look at characters differently. I haven't quite finished the book, but have thoroughly enjoyed the tale and characters.
This is the first time I have read this author and plan to get a few more.

Compelling characters!! At times the plot slowed down and was wordy, but the characters were very real and the insight into prisons was eye opening. I am looking forward to reading her other books. Of course, the ending was much different than you would expect in "real life" but was fun to read. I would highly recommend this.

This was the first book I ready by Catherine Anderson and it was very good. The main characters had real issues to overcome and it was intruiging to learn more about Laura's mental disability. I like how Caterhine's characters have either physcial or emotional issues that are very true to life. This book had a sweet romance involved but also brought some tears in several sections. What sweet characters. I have since read quite a few of the Coulter Family Series, but this was my favorite.

Utterly delightful. Rilla is Anne's youngest daughter and her coming age story is the sweetest and also funniest of the whole series. This is the one I re-read every few years.

This was a fun read. The heroine came from a troubled family and there were family dynamics throughout the book which were interesting. Also, I was kept in suspense about the hero until the very end. The characters were very engaging. Her mom played a large part in the book and was quite funny. Overall, a very good suspense/action/romance. I will be looking for some more contemporary Dodd to read.
