I actually had a difficult time getting interested in this book, but I stuck with it to the end. It was a story that most of us can relate to of friendships and marriages that go awry. The author leads us to understand that there are no perfect relationships, but if we consider the redeeming qualities of the perpetrator and value of the person in our life, we can continue the relationship. I found the prose a little flat in places, but a worthy effort.

The prose is exquisite if you happen to appreciate the old Classic style of writing, and I do. It's a book to slowly savor. Each page contains such beautiful writing it is almost breathtaking. The story itself so resembles real life and resonates with my observations and experiences.

Very interesting but breaks my heart to learn how dolphins have suffered from the irresponsible acts of humans.
