This is the first collection of the Petrella short stories which were originally published in Ellery Queen Magazine and various UK magazines. The Petrella series is considered by many readers to be the British version of the McBain 87th Precinct novels. I would also add that anyone who likes Marric's Gideon books will enjoy Petrella.
