I was really excited for this book. It was a disappointment, however. The characters were flat, and seemed to think of nothing but sex and having their own way. It was a struggle to finish.

One of my favorite Jessica Steele books. Enjoyed the characters and was satisfied with the ending.

One of my favorite Betty Neels. Wholesome and innocent romance. No steamy scenes. I like that the female character was plain instead of gorgeous. The male lead was, as usual with Neels, a very mature and respectful gentleman. Very sweet.

Love jessica Steele. Quick, light reading. Perfect brain candy for a rainy day.

One of my favorite books ever. I really loved how the characters grew to respect and love each other, learning to overcome obstacles. And learning about faith also.

I love anything by Rebecca Winters, and this was no exception. The intense emotions and the strange plot twists kpt me reading. I finished this book in one setting. I will reread it!

I could not put this book down. It was very intense, and the story was brilliantly told. I really enjoyed the psychic angle in the story.

I like Barbara McMahon, but this one was different. I was very irritated with the hero; he was very harsh, and then seemed to change overnight. An okay story, but not one I would read again.

Iloved this story. There was action, romance, and some intrigue. I would recommend reading her short story Alpha and Omega from the On the Prowl anthology first. Otherwise, the beginning might be a little confusing.

This was the first Dee Henderson book I ever read. It was fantastic. I could not put it down. Can't wait to read her other books.

Loved it! I love Jessica Steele, and this is one of my favorites. Not as much antagonism. Two people who I genuinely liked. What a great story!

Loved this book. Very believable twist to Austen's classic. Very emotional without being mushy or overdone. Good romance with no explicit scenes.

What a fascinating book! There was action, intrigue, romance, angst...it had it all but was still a book I would let my teen read. The characters were very well written, and the descriptions were exquisite. I look forward to the next book.

Helpful Score: 1
I put this book on my favorites list. The characters were beautifully written. Even the strange and unbelievable twist in this story seemed to be believable in this context. I really with SAA would show these characters in another story, I hated to let them go.

I really tried. I could not read past page 50. Reading this just felt too much like work. Sorry.

Exquisitely told love story. It has mystery, romance, humor, intense emotion...wow! Read it in one day. One sex scene, after marriage, I was able to turn the page and skip over it.

I loved this book. It was fast paced, and the characters were very real. As usual Julie Garwood added humor and emothion and a great story. There were a couple love scenes, but they were easy to skip over.

This was the second book I read by this author. It was fantastic... funny, sweet, it had mystery and a paranormal twist. I finished this and immediately purchased the other books in the series. These books are definitely staying on my shelf.
