The reviews indicated it demonstrated design; however, it's way too friendly with faulty evolutionary themes, like common descent across species.

I made it a few stories in and just couldn't get into it. There's an abundance of invented slang words attempting to describe the depraved future society that made it hard to follow. After reading Asimov, Verne, Wells, Bradbury, even Scalzi and Card, I'm having a hard time finding good, more current sci-fi short stories.

Some useful info, but after seeing the author on JBP I was expecting more uncovering of truth in a time where it seems to be more likely to be hidden. Too much of it read like mainstream misinformation.

I was hopeful for the book since I had enjoyed reading some sci-fi short story collections as a teen. While there was some creativity to the stories, unfortunately, it was used to paint dark, dreary societies full of deviant sexual perversion, and I was done after 100 pages. Not for me.
