Another great story from a wonderful author! Her characters are lovable, the story moves along quickly, but not so fast as to rush the story. Amelia & Hank as is the rest of the towns folk are all such great characters that I found myself hoping she writes more books set in Glory, Texas. I just love reading Jill Marie Landis books! It is so hard to wait on the next one released as I have read everything she has written.

I loved this book, the story flows very well, and the people are multi-dimensional & fun. I enjoyed the fact that Daisy & Jack fell in love over the course of the book; I was hooked as I followed their love story unfolding. I loved the Wilkins Brothers!

The story was good, it was a little annoying that I can't remember the male characters name... The way he talked it reminded me of Yoda from Star Wars so he spent the entire book being called Yoda, drove me crazy when he would talk. Other than that it was a fun story, I still give it a 4 star rating, lost 1 star because of Yoda.

This is the authors first novel. It was very good, I really enjoyed it. She has the right mix of story telling, great story, flowed smoothly, interesting characters. She deals with shape-shifters & fey-bloods nice blending of the species. There is a prequel I suggest you read it gives some information that is brought up in the book.. I'm looking forward to her next book!

Was very excited to get my hands on this book. It was such a disappointment, the story got into to much detailed disscriptions of personal thoughts of Niki Heat's life and not enough details on the crime & investagation of the crime. The last two chapters were the meaty part of the book, so happy it was only 196 pages otherwise I would have not finished it as I got to the point I really didn't care who killed Mathew Starr. If you want a fluff story between a few good books it's ok, but stick to the show Castle its much better.

1st book i've read by this author, the second in the set, it was a cute fun story. I enjoyed the mix of Vampire, Elven & Werewolves co-exisiting & working together.
Don't miss Rhiannon & Barrie's stories -
vol 1 "Keeper of the Night" by Heather Graham (December 2012) Rhiannon's story
vol 3 "Keeper of the Shadows" by Alexandra Sokoloff (May 2013) Barrie's story

First in the set, it was a cute fun story, not the usual Heather Graham story. I enjoyed the mix of Vampire, Elven & Werewolves co-exisiting & working together.

I couldn't wait to be offered this book so I bought it on my nook. I was very much looking forward to reading this story, but was sadly disappointed. The story seemed rushed, gave more story to Ash's parents than necessary & spent too much time detailing the servants romantic preferences & not enough details of the main characters Ash & Jess. I felt the author could have given more of a story to the main characters than she did. Wish I had waited to find a copy at a yard sale or from the library I feel I just wasted my money on this book. Which is sad because I loved the first 3 in the series!

This was a new author for me & can't wait to read more of her books. I loved this book, the story flows very well, and the people are multi-dimensional & fun. I enjoyed the fact that Jessica & Brady fell in love over the course of the book; I was hooked as I followed their love story unfolding. Unlike most stories that within the first few chapters they have sex and are in love without knowing why.
