I bought this book after a review in a local paper. It was very interesting, kind of a cross between a historical view and an environmental impact piece. The most interesting parts are the experiments and testing the author puts herself through. It can get dry at times, but always seems to come back to good when she talks about her actual experiences.

If you liked The Hunger Games or The Divergent novels, you will LOVE this book. This is the 1st in a trilogy and I have only read this one, but I love it. The characters are fully formed and the plot is interesting.
