very good book. Great insight into how one's life can change in a split second. Characters deal with acknowledging that the person they lived with everyday is not the person they think he is at all. Characters must deal with betrayal, grief, loss of confidence in themselves and social pressures.

Great book, great author. Keeps you guessing until the very end. Would never have suspected the person who ultimately turns out to be the bone collector.

An honest account of a man of God who falls from grace for the love of another woman. In the process, he leaves his wife, his family, his church and his parishoners to figure out what happened to the man that they knew and loved. His new life spirals out of control when the woman he left his wife for, returns to her husband and he is left wondering what his life is all about. A brief stint with depression leaves him suicidal. In the end, he takes an introspective look at his life and works his way back to his wife and family. Brutally honest and touching without being preachy, Trotter tells the story in his own words proving once again that life is not always greener on the other side.

Great story line that flowed smoothly throughout the book. A real page turner for me as Jack tries to discover what has happened to his twin brother, the cop. The reporter from a small town paper makes some interesting discoveries that lead the FBI to become involved in the cases of several cops who have supposedly committed suicide. Throw in a budding relationship with the FBI agent and you have the prefect book.

Wonderful story involving family dynamics and relationship. Suspense in the not knowing how it will all end. Very easy read and engaging.
