This is not a book of illustrated designs (which is what I wanted). It's just written text about the process. It IS a charming textbook about nail art products and nail health. It has a lot of homeopathic solutions such as sea salt baths to strengthen nails.

I liked the book very much until the ending. The author chose a Gone-with-the-Wind-type ending, which means, in my opinion, that it had NO ending at all. Don't know if one of the main characters is dead or alive. I hoped that the author would have more books after this 2006 publication so that I could at least determine if the character was still alive and, hopefully, romantically well, but I see no books in this series published since 2006. Phooey!
