Enjoyable book, I got it to read more about the south of France, which I love. However, I also discovered a lot about art and in particular the artist Matisse.

Interesting tale of one man and his wife's attempt at living in rural Spain. Best enjoyed from the comfort of your armchair:)The author paints a very realistic picture of a fairly unknown part of Spain and the way of life there.

I bought this book a couple of weeks ago and read it once for my book club. I really enjoyed it. I gives great insight into life in Eastern Oregon around 1917. I grew to like the main character and all her friends. I also learned a lot about horses! Enjoyable read.

I love reading books about Tuscany and this did not disappoint.Enjoyable read about a Hungarian and his American wife renovating an old Tuscan farmhouse. The author captures the charm, the seasons changing and the village life very well. Best read in a sunny garden with a chilled chardonnay on hand.

First book I have read by this author, nice light read, although it was kind of obvious from the start the big secret, but maybe I've read too many of these kind of novels. Good holiday read.
