The Adventurer's Handbook: Life Lessons from History's Great Explorers
Review Date: 4/28/2012

Very interesting and much better than I thought it would be. It gives you a short story about the explorer, where he/she went and some of the intense things that they had gone through.

Loved it and passed it along to my daughter!

Haunted Happenings: With New Photos of Old Ghosts (New England's Collectible Classics)
Review Date: 8/28/2016

This has been one of the best books that I've ever read on "ghosts". I read these because I'm not really sure if they are "real", but it is fun to read about. Most books of this kind are written by people that write like they are still in middle school. Mr. Cahill writes like a writer should- he is to the point, educated in his subject and writes like an intelligent person. So many write like they are speaking to their buddy over the phone-very disappointing-but not with this book! Thank you so much for making this book available to me.

The book is very entertaining, especially when traveling. I can look up cities to see if there are any haunted houses and it gives me a basic history. It certainly doesn't give me all of the haunted locations in an area, but enough to make it entertaining.

The author is blunt and hilarious when describing times in her life. Not done with the book yet, but it is certainly a funny read!

This book is very comforting for any that read it. Ms. DuBois assures the reader that our departed friends and family are in a much better place and that we should not fear ever believing that we have ever lost any them. I would suggest this book to everyone-especially if you have recently lost anyone close.
