The Ghost Map: The Story of London's Most Terrifying Epidemic -- and How It Changed Science, Cities, and the Modern World
Review Date: 10/24/2008

The topic was fascinating: the epidemic bringing about the discovery of the cause of cholera. The book was not. I found it was repetitive and a bit of a drag. Be prepared to be grossed out by the first chapter.

J.D. Robb's series about Lt. Eve Dallas is more entertaining with each book I read. Previous stories are only lightly touched upon making each a stand-alone volume. I suppose there are some who might consider this a futuristic bodice-ripper however I think the character development and relationships far outweigh that aspect of the story lines.
