The beginning of this book is very repetitve, I feel like I was halfway through the book but still reading chapter one over and over again. By the time the book picked up and got more interesting I was more than ready to give up and read something different. The characters are frustrating and keep making awful decisions, and instead of learning from their mistakes they just keep repeating the same things. This is the first book of Megan Abbotts I have read and will probably be the only one.

I loved this book. Stayed up late because I just had to know what happened. Very good pace and the characters were very well developed. They felt like people I could have actually known and felt bad for...or hated. Looking for a good book.....pick this one up.

I loved this book, but Kristin Hannah has yet to dissappoint me with any of her books. She has a way of bringing characters to life and making you feel their heartache and happiness. It was very difficult to put down, I just had to find out what was going to happen next.

I have never read a book quite like this one. I don't normally end up reading books again, because I find them predictable, but this one I will definitely be reading again. I highly recommend this book, even if you can't get it on PBS, it is well worth the moeny to buy it new.

I was very interested in the idea of this book and found the characters interesting to begin with. The author writes in a way that keeps you reading and wanting to know what will happen next. But overall I was very unhappy with this book, I know not all books are feel good, happy ending books, but this book was downright depressing. Any books that makes you feel plain awful at the end is not something I want to read. Some of the characters changed so much throughout the course of the book it was hard to believe they were the same people, just a bit unbelievable and far fetched for me.
