I love this author. His voice is very entertaining and off the wall. Not for everyone but I always leave wanting to hear more about his life.

This book had me thinking for months. It really gives an insight into a culture and a macro level problem that is typically only understood from the surface. The author did a great job pulling this book together.

The story was compelling but not as much as his other novel.

I read this in a day or so. Excellent writing and the author's life tales are bizarre....in a good way. Maybe not a mainstream style/subject, but for anyone who enjoys a little shock, you will not be able to put down this book. The follow up 'Dry" is also worth reading-I couldnt put that one down either.

If you read one of the books by the Three Dog Bakery, that is enough....particularly since they repeat them between books.

I love the voice of this author. His life story through all his memoirs leave me wanting more. A glimpse into the American Irish culture in New York.
