Enjoyed Jade Island best, followed by Pearl Cove. Learned a lot about the harvesting and sorting of pearls, esp the precious black pearls. AS for priceless antique Jade erotica... the senses are aroused.
The Donovan brothers are powerful and protective of their partners. the women they love are courageous, smart and sexy.

Carla's story actually has a better plot and in depth characterization than most Black Lace books.
Carla is exploited by her master artist and his senior apprentice, a female patron and others along the way but with each sexual encounter, she learns how to survive and learn from her experiences. She grows as an artist and as a female in Renaissance Florence.
The ending is a bit too neat for credibility but alls well that ends well.

Not one of Thornton's better romantic mystery stories, a bit slow going and meanders.

Not my idea of responsible sex and fun. Just a series of sex orgies ad nauseum with multiple partners, mainly strangers at truck stops and restrooms. The cover was more exciting than its contents.

Not worth reading as the story line is weak, the dialogue silly at best and the ending is too tidy for an assassin story, therefore not credible. S.K. should stick to her excellent DarkHunter series.

Two stories in one : Bluestocking Bride and Sheer Sorcery. Both are heartwarming stories where the heroes realize they are in love and will go to great lengths to prove their love. The heroines are Greek geeks !
