I picked this book up on a whim and I wasn't really sure what to expect. This book was hard to put down. There is a lot of up and down action to keep you really involved and make you fall in love with the main character. But more then anything this book is a shiny new take on vampires and how they come to be and how they mingle with the "human" world. New takes on vampire lore are a dime a dozen but rarely are they so believable and detailed. Very well done and worth a read if you are a fan of Anne Rice or Charline Harris.

Why Bear Has a Short Tail: A Traditional Tale (Beginning Literacy)
Review Date: 11/3/2009

This book is easy to deem "Worst kids book ever" This book tells a story of a horrible mean fox who is jealous of the bear who has a beautiful tail, so the fox tricks him and it results in the bears tail being ripped off and the mean fox has in the end just what he wanted. The story teaches children a lesson that you get what you want if you are cruel to others. I would not recommend it to any child or parent.
