Very informative account of the life of Alexander Hamilton from his birth in the West Indies to his rise in politics in the United States. You will begin to understand his volatile relationship with Thomas Jefferson, John Adams, and Aaron Burr. Also that history has forgotten almost all that Hamilton accomplished and established for the good of the United States.

It was off an running. Then the soap opera began. My mind started wandering with the niece-Scarpetta dialog. I gave up and re-listed the book.

I read this book several years ago and it is finally confirmed. Erik Larson is a genius! Even has a little Disney in it.
