We have another book in this series which is what led us to this one. My children love locating the items listed & to see the creativity of the author is fun.

On the Trail of the Truth (The Journals of Corrie Belle Hollister, Book 3)

I really enjoyed this book (the 3rd in the series). It was more suspensful than the previous.

I had lived in this area some years ago and I think that may contribute toward my enjoyment of these books.

While this book was enjoyable, I found it a little slower than my usual preference. I did not really relate to the characters. The story is well written and the characters and well developed, however, the plot was a little on the slower side.
