Autobiographical short stories of the authors life. They stories of everyday life, visiting friends, listening to music, relationships, car crashes, surgery. They not really connected, yet are interesting as life is interesting. The last two or three stories seem out of place a jump that is confusing, but overall I was interested in just following the authors life.

I was expected a stereotypical book about a woman's life (Like the comicstrip Cathy). Maitena has some of that, mostly with a real world twist.
Each page has some kind of statement at the top "Some of the most common prejudices concerning women" "Six typically feminine things" and six panels with funny, silly, mundane, or scary things about it. Not all the stories resonated with me, but I still am glad I read this and want to read the next volume to see if it gets even better.

Yotsuba is a four year old girl who is carefree and excitable. This is a slice of life comic, funny and imaginative. You get to follow Yotsuba on various adventures in her new neighborhood, with her new neighbors, with the world. I love the story where she catches cicada.
