Although this book gives ideas for gifts, you must then order the catalog where they are located. The book was copyrighted in 1992 and some of the places I checked are no longer in business.

This book seems familiar if you have read any of her earlier ones that have the same setting. New characters, lots of action ----it lives up to its name --- Absolute Fear.

Dr. Louis Camuti is in his 80's when he writes this book with the help of the Frankels. His veterinary practice in New York City has been unusual in that he made "house calls". A no nonsense dr, he remembers the funny times as well as the sad times with his patients and their owners.

Unabridged audio of ANGELES ASHES written by Frank McCourt and read in his distinctive Irish brogue. The memoir tells of the unbelievable poverty of his family in depression-era Brooklyn and the slums of Limerick, Ireland. Despite this, the author "lives to tell his tale with eloquence, exuberance, and remarkable forgiveness." Winner of the Pulitzer Prize. Running time approximately 15 hours, 1997.
