Awesome surprise ending, but not my favorite Patterson book. It jumps around from chapter to chapter with a different character narrating.....not my favorite format. Worth reading if you are a Patterson fan

This series is getting better with time. A nice "cozy" mystery series set in the mountains of SC.Characters are portrayed in a good light as opposed to some stereotypical southern settings. All 4 books hold your interest throughout. A recommended read for any fan of mysteries set in south.

I really liked this book and hope to read the 2nd one soon. It reminded me a lot of the Donna Ball Raine Stockton series. Dog lovers and cozy mystery lovers alike will enjoy it. I guessed the killer fairly early but it was an enjoyable read.

Another excellent book by Mary Alice Monroe. An easy read of family, romance and the low country of SC with a side of conservation thrown in. Always worth the read!
