This book is a stand alone novel, not one of the Myron Bolitar series which I love. But it had some twists & turns in true Harlan Coben fashion and I liked it very much. It made you think about what you would do in the same circumtances. How far would you go to protect your child? Would you spy on them or respect their privacy? No easy answers. I think I've read all of Harlan Coben's books & this ranks with the best.

This was the first Nameless Detective book I've read and it won't be the last. I like to start a series at the beginning but thought this looked interesting. I've read all of Marcia Muller's Sharon McCone series (Bill Pronzini's wife)so wanted to see what his writing is like.

The story is well put together, the characters well-defined and it held my interest. I'd like to read more in the series to get the background of the characters & follow their progress.

No surprise ending but a very satisfactory read.

The title describes this book perfectly. It's little tidbits of Bette's rememberings cobbled together in no particular order. She jumps around quite a bit from different times & experiences in her life but it was a fascinating glimpse into the life of a star.

It was a little bit of "kiss & tell" and somewhat of a boastful ego trip but since I've always liked Bette Davis I feel she was entitled to boast a little. Her boasts were well deserved.
