very interesting, different, strange, thought-provoking.
NOT a 'one-read' book, and will re-read again shortly.
unusual plot/premises ... i think i'd like to read more of this author .... love sci-fi and he wasn't formerly a fave, or one i was well acquainted with.
hard to summarize, but different approach/plotting/thinking... and interesting ending as well. 'hero saves the day' but oh my it's a mighty surprise

skimmed parts, personally felt it was a waste of time.
prolly gonna put in the 'give to goodwill pile'

depends on what you are looking for in fiction read
this had at least 2 sections of 'soft porn' - or not so soft ... totally unexpected/unwarranted/didn't provide anything to the story
i really didn't expect explicit sexual descriptions...
another author on the ... can't trust list

i do love heinlein, and have read EVERY one of his books at least 2x if not 3x or more.
that said. this one has almost zero plot and no sci-fi; is essentially a vehicle for heinlein's later life ideas about his character wants to sleep with her father/her son = uninhibited sexual activity with anyone practically.
OK... fine ??? but seriously, NOT heinlein's sci-fi. if you pulled the actual plot material away from the soft-porn it wouldn't be even 20 pages
