Demystifies how we got here - a careful, deliberate use of language on the part of the right to make dissent, even rational thought, quite difficult. Luckily, it ends with a how-to section for the progressives to re-frame the debate. Lakoff offers terms and phrases to use to counter all the inuendo used to control and limit discussion.

Moderately helpful, although maybe a little more basic than I'd hoped. I'll keep it as a reference for other Nabokov texts I'll read.

Only 1/3 through, but I love this book. It evokes the West. "Good Rockin' Tonight" William Hauptman is a standout. Like a new, shorter Gatsby.
