Writing was pretty bad in spots. Heavy amount of smut. Probably will not read the 2nd and 3rd. :( Just wanted to see what all the hype was about.

A very different kind of story. A cross between science fiction and action. I didn't think I'd like it, but I enjoyed it in the end. Some parts a little graphic.

Hard to follow and sort out the characters at first. I particularly like Faulkner's stream of consciousness style. The characters were very colorful. A good change of style and pace for me.

Fast-paced, quick chapters, same style as his other novels. I am in the Software profession so I particularly enjoyed this plot unfolding.
