I enjoy paranormal romances. This book did not disappoint. It did take a few chapters to get into the terminology that the author uses but once I did it was very enjoyable. Both characters have self esteem issues stemming from childhood. T'Ash is strong but his past gets in his way. I have already ordered the next 3 books of the series.

Wow! I love Karen M.Moning. Adam Black is a fae who is being punished by the fae Queen. He has been a very diverse character. In one book cruel, the next sweet and indulgent. His story was one I loved.

What a wonderful tale. It starts off with much character and world building but soon I was thoroughly engaged. I loved how this story revolves around the mysterious appearance of a man and a child during a storm. He is badly injured. The girl at first appears to be dead and is put into a shed. Rita, a local nurse, comes hours later to help the injured man, then she goes to see the girl who she believes is dead then amazingly wakes and recovers. No one knows who she is. There are 2 families that she might belong to. So they are called in to see the girl. Both believe she is theirs. There is lots of history mixed within the mystery. So much is happening and intertwined! This was a great story I enjoyed very much!
Absolutely loved the narration. Juliet Stevenson was wonderful.

I love Laura Kinsale's books. She has unique characters in unique situations. They always surprise me. This was no exception. It's not your typical romance, and I loved the little bit of magical mystery. Recommend this to those who enjoy a bit of paranormal mystery in their romance.

This is a terrific new series by one of my favorite authors! Elizabeth Cage has a gift! Others are trying to have her in their control. Doctor Sorenson, her late husbands boss, is trying to keep her at his asylum. But she gets unexpected help. Jodi Taylor's considerable imagination and humor is present. Loved it and the sequel.
