This was a great holiday book about a couple who owns a bed & breakfast, a cantankerous old woman, along with many other quirky characters, and how they all get along to celebrate the true meaning of Christmas. It's a book that should be passed around to others during this season. I highly recommend this book. It's fast-paced & you won't be sorry that you took the time to read it.

This was my first book by this author but won't be the last. I enjoyed it far more than I thought I would. I found it hard to put down as I wanted to find out whom she would eventually marry. It had kind of a surprise ending. I would recommend this book.

This is my second book by this author & I can't seem to get enough! I have read Courting Trouble & this follow-up one. I've really enjoyed both!! It was a real easy read & one I would definitely recommend. Better to read the first of the series first, so you'll know who & what the characters are all about.

In the path of a very devastating hurricane, three very different women find themselves trapped in the elevator of a high-rise office building. All three conceal shattering secrets-unaware that their secrets center on the same man. The betrayed wife, the determined mistress, and the fugitive cleaning woman.
Angela Hunt has become one of my favorite authors and this book did not disappoint me. From beginning to end it gathers momentum and tension builds and ends, with what I thought was a surprise ending. Once I started reading, it was hard to put down. I would definitely recommend this book.

This book was given to me, so I decided I'd probably read it, but wasn't sure I would like it very much. Was I surprised when I had a hard time putting it down. It had some twists & turns & made me want to come back to see what happened. I really enjoyed the book & was glad I decided to read it. I should have know that you can't go wrong with a Tracie Peterson book.

I started this book and found it hard to put down. It's amazing to me that the author, Jeannette Walls, not only survived this childhood of hers, but came to be the adult she is today. Her sister and brother had to care for themselves, along with her. Feeding, clothing and protecting one another. It was a good story of hope and survival.

This was my first time reading anything by this author, but I was not disappointed. It not only had romance, but a lot of "edge of your seat" action. A much different book than I was expecting. It was very heartwarming & a great book to read around the holidays. I would definitely recommend it.

Another great read from Deeanne Gist! I really enjoyed this one. It had romance, drama, and lots of humor within its pages. I found it hard to put down-------wanting to find out what was going to happen next. I also learned a lot of "little-known facts" that actually took place in that time. Make this one a book to be read. You won't be disappointed.

I don't think it would be right to say that I enjoyed this book, as it talks about the horrors of the Auschwitz concentration camp. I did, however, find it hard to put down and read it in one sitting. It detailed how the author, Elie Wiesel, survived being in the concentration camp, and the horrors he endured. It was graphic in places, but I learned things I hadn't known. I would recommend this book.

I have just finished reading the daughters of the promise series and really loved it!
I can't wait until April 2010 when her next book in the series will be out. Each novel follows an individual's journey into an Amish Community where they discover the meaning to the words faith, hope and love. I would definitely recommend this series. This book is #3.

This is a small book, but holds a lot. Another great book by Karen Kinsbury. The story reminded me a little of either "the notebook" or "the gazebo" in the re-telling of a love story from years past. The best in the red glove series. All I can say is, keep the tissues handy!
