As usual Peter Mayle scores again with his marvelous account of eating in France. It was fun, witty plus I felt I was always smelling whatever was wafting out of the kitchen! It was also great to hear about the personalities of Mayle's friends.

Well written book, good imagination, and kept my attention. Thoughtful subject of mental anguish after the death of family member combined with history and mystery.
I have enjoyed all of Jennifer Donnelly's books.
