Not quite up to pae for Brad Thor. Still a quick read and international settings.

Quick read that is a real page turner. Subject is pretty disgusting and hard to believe, but it does keep your attention.

This is Daniel Silva at his best. Gabriel leads us through perilous adventures and intrigue as he always does, but in The Defector, he reaches new heights. A real page turner that holds our complete attention to the very end.

Having read two of Karin Fossum's mysteries, I thought I knew what to expect: somewhat hard to get into and then. once in, a real page turner. This one grabbed me from the first page and held my attention until I reluctantly finished the final page. Highly recommend Don't Look Back.

Let me start with, I am a huge Gabriel Allon fan. This one probably isn't his best, but it is a page turner. It has an interesting premise, full of sleeper agents and political intrigue.

Since I have been reading so many Scandinavian mysteries of the noir variety, this one came as a shock to the system. Old fashioned, quaint, certainly from a different space and time. I did enjoy Louise Penny, but will go back to my Norsk page turners.
