I learned a lot from reading about Corrie's last five years on this earth. Her life still touched others even though she couldn't talk. Many would conclude her usefulness for the Lord was over but it became clear that He was using even this trial for her good and those around to bring Him glory. I'm glad to have read this book. I'll treasure it's lessons in my heart as I grow older.

Yet, in spite of these personal tragedies she was able to find hope and delight in the secret of the Christian's life.
