awesome book. as long as all the books are i can honestly say i wish they were longer,LOL. so much going on...a few surprises. i didn't find there to be any more romance in this book than in any of the others. a must read.

i love this series. can't rate it high enough. i am now listening to it on cd and I'm just in love with the characters. i can't wait to go to work everyday (i listen at work) to listen to jamie and claire's adventures.

i found myself having to put this down and come back a half hour later. some of the things the kids had to do to survive enraged me. i wanted to beat the parents half to death. the author is amazing in her telling of her story and how finds so much understanding of and for her parents and their troubles.

I read On the Road quite a few years ago when i was 16. i had no idea who kerouac was or that this book was supposed to be a classic. I loved it. It made me wish i was "on the road."
