Easy read with a good flow. Lot of interesting facts about Ole Hickory and the Wars going on in his time.

A good first person view of the battle from the U.S. side. It is an objective view and worth reading.

A good variety of techniques with a number of different foods.

A good western novel. The good guys win but it keeps you interest up trying to figure out the good guys.

Some of the blunders everyone has heard of but even those they put a new little twist on. It is a good read.

The wild fire stores wer great and would be of interest to anyone involved in ICS or firefighting. Some of the other stores were much slower and not keep my interest as well. Still it is a worthwile read.

The book follows the events in the Middle East by following the lives of individuals involved. It was a totally different story when looking from the bottom up rather than top down. The stories were compelling. On the other hand, the pictures were a total failure. Non were titled (except in the back of the book) nor explained. They added nothing to the story and they could have.

In the beginning I was not sure how all the people and stories would fit together on 9/11. However, they did in a very straight foward and moving way.
I had heard about Rick Rescorda on 9/11 but there was so much more to his story.

A good nitty gritty view of WWII from the point of view of a grunt. It give a totally different view of the first Marine Division and their battles during WWII. Everyone should read this book along with the history books which view the war from a higher level.

Even though this book was written in 2012 and is fiction, it is almost like it has been pulled from today's news. The internal and external threats seems very real. It is a real page turner.

A book with characters with real problems. Some work out and some don't. It shows that everyone needs faith to get you through the hard time. Everyone should read it.

A good survey of men and FA units involved in the Battle of the Bulge. It included the aftermath with following the men during their time as POWs.

There are a lot of new pictures that are not normally see. There are some good maps and some new information. The last section on impacts of the war on a number of nations was very interested.

Lot of good action and twists.

It is a British book so it has an emphasis on their history and ships. There is good coverage of U.S. ships from the Civil War on. It was published in the mid 1970's so it is a little dated.

Lots of detail starting with the lead up to the war. The pictures add a lot to the books.
