This is a delightfully illustrated book about two brothers who are bored and are sent out of the house by their mother. When they spot a propeller in the barn, they get inspired to scavenge all manner of items from inside and outside of the house. They manage to get their plane off the ground for an amazing ride, which ends too soon when their parents discover many missing items, then find their sons soaring above them. Peter Spier's detailed illustrations make the simple text come to life in this book that the whole family will enjoy.

A humorous tale of putting up with and enjoying the relatives' summer visit, with word pictures for all the senses about the hugging, laughing and eating; delightful illustrations.
