I really like reading this to my 4-8 year olds. It takes about 5 minutes to read through a story and answer the provided questions at the end of each story. Thinking about the characters good and bad choices in each story helps provide a simple and practical application to the typical Bible lessons taught to young children. It would also be a very helpful resource for teaching Sunday school. The kids also enjoy snuggling up next to me and looking for the hidden grasshopper in each story.

I'm really enjoying this translation. It increases the readability without compromising the accuracy. Words are italicized to make it clear when they have been added to give clarity or flavor, but even those are not a stretch from the clear meaning.
