Very nice set of books. Heart felt, a nice read. You really feel for the characters.

This book was slow to get into, but once I did there was no putting it down! This isn't your typical heroic fantasy. Tanith Lee has a gift for drawing you into a story and wjile not exactly liking a character, understanding her.

I've tried to read this book a couple times in the past but gave up. Decided to give it another try and had to force my way through. Boring.

Decent read. Got a bit slow towards the end but still worth a read.

Pretty good story. The characters take a little while to get used to. Its nice to see a heroine who's not ms. perfect.

I hate to say this but I could not get into this book. I found the writing a little..stale I guess. maybe its just me.

I had a hard time putting this one down. The mystery involving the child and what or who she is was what kept me engaged in the story. Isabel was an intriguing character as well. You know her but you still feel theres parts you'll never see. You even feel sympathy for the "bad" characters.

I loved these two stories! Sweet and fun and just the right amount of heart wrenching.

Tanith Lee's very different take on Beauty and the Beast. I just could not get into this book.

Quite a lot of story packed into a small book. Very well worth the read.

Very different book! I loved that it wasn't all about the romance. You really got to know each character.

I really enjoyed this book. The book starts right before the wedding and follows the Darcys into life in London Society. Very refreshing.

I really wanted to like it more then I did. It was slow in parts, and at times I felt impatient to get things going!!

Not what I was expecting. It has it's moments but none of the characters were likable. I understand they are based on real people but still.
It was grim reading. I couldn't put it down for all its depressing atmosphere. It was interesting to get inside their heads.

I was a little disappointed in this book. While good for the most part, it was slow in parts. Very detailed.

I can't really say the book was enjoyable, as it was painful to read about what these women went through. However, it was well written and definitely a book I would recommend to someone who wants a little bit of an eye opener. To the last page, I couldn't put it down. Not a light read but one I would read again.

A good read about a little known case. Broke my heart at times. Better then some books I've read about more publicized cases.

This is a thin book, but packed full of story and emotion. It's like a folk tale, and the ending couldn't have been any different. A must if you like Tanith Lee!
