An interesting concept, but the book dwells more on the rampant consumerism of the nation than of the consumer aspect of saving and not spending money. It leans more political than consumer driven.

Jo Ann Mapson has created some wonderful characters that will make you laugh and cry - Bop, the grandfather with too much money and no one to share it with; his granddaughter Lanie and her sad existence. She weaves their stories, their loves and losses into a wonderful story of a dysfunctional family that finds its function. IT is one of those books that I read over and over.

excellent continuation of the Peter Decker series. This time, his daughter, Cindy, a 28-year-old policewoman is the center of the story. There is a mystery to be solved, some father-daughter bonding and a new man in Cindy's life.

A 'what if' book for time travel lovers. A man goes back in time to prevent the assassination of JFK, thereby preventing the buildup of troops in Vietnam and (hopefully) saving his brother's life. But do things go as planned???
