Such a fascinating read. If you haven't had the chance, I would pair this book with Emily Wilson's translation of the Odyssey. Both provide alternate perspectives on women's roles within Greek society. Atwood's narrative offered witty commentary on Penelope's life and context on why she chose to remain faithful to Odysseus.
