The Franklin Cover-Up: Child Abuse, Satanism, and Murder in Nebraska
Review Date: 3/30/2012
Helpful Score: 2

This book provides a chilling tale of a conspiracy that took place in Nebraska, written by the former Senator who tried to blow the lid on the cover-up. A must read for anyone who wants to discover how large scale corrupt cover-ups can take place, and then appear impenetrable.

Fascinating book that describes history candidly, without politically correct influences to water-down history. From the days when the Indians were described as simply 'savages', this book is one of very few that gives real insight into life in the early days of America.

The Politically Incorrect Guide to the Civil War (Politically Incorrect Guides)
Review Date: 10/4/2012

If you only ever read one book on the civil war, let it be this one. General belief in the United States is that the Civil war was fought over slavery, but nothing could be further from the truth. The author does a wonderful job at conveying the true reasons for the war, and explains how it was fought on both sides.

This book is a complete waste of time, and a veiled attack on alternative medicine. The author refuses to discuss herbs, and instead focuses on niche therapies to target alternative medicine at its weakest.
