For some reason this book just didn't hold my attention; too predictable.

As the relative of a new Naval Officer on a submarine, this book was a godsend to fill in all the blanks of the duties, training and experiences that he cannot discuss. Highly recommended to fellow submariners family; might be a tad dry and too technical for the average reader.

I have enjoyed several movies produced or directed by Ms. Ephron, but this collection of articles that she wrote in the 70's are very dated and far too militant feminist for my taste!

Didn't care for this book. If I had known that it featured a pro-abortion stance with characters stalked by a supposed crazy evangelical character, I would have avoided it like the plague. Came off as a cheap retelling of "Fatal Attraction" with a anti-Christian bias. I don't recommend it.

Please, please don't post, swap or read this book, and never, NEVER use any of Ezzo's recommendations!!! When my children were much younger, we took this class at our church and although both my husband and I were uncomfortable with many of the bizarre rules and requirements (only given material one chapter at a time, couldn't discuss with anyone outside of class, had to sign a contract, etc.) we trusted our church to only present us with information that would be helpful to our family, not harmful. What happened was that half the class thought it was a crock and discounted the info, and half the class bought into it hook, line and sinker!! It caused many ruptured relationships in our church and led to some parents treating their precious children in ungodly ways. Please read about this man and his lack of any qualifications before you expose your babies to his advise!!

My family and I enjoyed the movie version of this book several years ago, and the book was very instrumental in filling in the blanks of the movie. The real story wasn't quite as dramatic as the movie, but then, they never are, are they?!

I had heard rave reviews from several sources on Mr. Flynn's books, but this one was a stinker!! I spent the whole book asking myself who would believe this drivel.

I used this book on two different trips to Disney World with my family. It had wonderful tips and I mapped our agenda by days and narrowed down the rides to the ones we had to go on as well as what time of day to hit them. Don't try Disney without a copy!
