The book is done up beautifully, but I found it way beyond my skill level. I thought I might be able to do up some small projects with scraps, but it is on an advanced level

I was attracted to the title and concept because I often neglect to take the time to sit and connect with God as I would like. The author had the same problem and has some good ideas on changing her interaction with the One who gives us air to breathe! I like it so much I'm planning to do a group Bible study on it later this year

With many years of clinical experience, Dr. Dobson recognizes that our boys are under attack in this culture. ( Look at how men are portrayed in commercials even.) He has great words to encourage parents to protect and prepare boys to live successfully in this world - and the next! I have bought many copies to give to new parents and have taught the companion course - good stuff!

one woman's honest assessment of her interaction with God during her early life and overseas service. She wrestles with her self image and God's direction, but comes to the conclusion that God is enough and has been leading her down a good -though difficult - path. Helpful for anyone who has served as a missionary and wondered about God's leading.

more of the story!anyone who has followed the trail of the 5 missionaries over the last 50 plus years will find this a great update. Anyone who does not know the story of the 5 missionary martyrs will find it facinating and inspiring. A riveting read

I enjoyed reading this author's personal account of aspects of her many trips to England. She tells of the out of the way activities, places, restaurants and gardens she has visited. It has good information about what is available - although it is an older book- she gives general facts (such as museums times of opening) that are probably still in effect.

I got this for a friend whose unmarried daughter was pregnant and who had decided to give the baby up for adoption. The book helped my friend to grieve the loss of this baby and to know how to effectively walk her daughter thru the experience. She found it (painfully) realistic and ultimately very helpful. They have found a lovely Christian couple to bless with the baby.

I thought it was a good, thought provoking book with some historical fiction- ideas based on what may actually happen. It could help young people realize the consequences of their actions and what they are risking with dangerous behavior- physically and spiritually. The characters are believable

a great read! sort of a Catholic Jan Karon. A hopeful book dealing with real issues in churches that has a happy ending - reinforcing faith

this had a wonderful setting and an interesting story line, but the community's morals seemed lax and I was disappointed in the overal tone - as much as I like a British story, I did not persue the rest of the series and , in fact, trashed the book -as in- put it in the trash -couldn't think of anybody I'd want to pass it on to

This is a great story- it follows the three little pigs story line- set in the soth west. The illustrations are vivid and well done. Adults will enjoy it too as they read it to their children.
