This book was recommended to me by a friend, and was a very fast read! I am anxious to read the remaining books in the trilogy, as Sharon Shinn's writing style is captivating and engaging. I felt transported to the world which she has created and long for another visit.

Firethorn is a strong, independent young woman, living in a place and time when women were expected to be timid natured and submissive. Driven by her passions and curiousities, Firethorn experiences many adventures and an incredible love that she cannot deny. A great read!

I am truly sad to see this series end, as it has been an exciting read, but Ms. Bujold does not disappoint with her finale for Dag, Fawn and friends. It leaves you wanting more -- which is something all good books should do in my opinion. If you've enjoyed the author's previous works, this is definitely one you won't want to miss.

This was my first book by Laura Tempest Zakroff, and i really enjoyed her writing style, though at times I did feel a disconnect with her message. She created the Modern Tradition of Witchcraft, which seems to take the approach of 'anything goes'. I look forward to reading her book on Sigil Witchery next.
