I love these books. Can't believe I waited so long to read them. I started with the first (Devil in Denim) and I adore all three of these guys that have baseball history in their blood and then decide to buy the struggling baseball team the "Saints". The baseball perspective is fun (I'm a bit of a fan). The guys are all adorable. Each of the "terrible trio" is adorable in their own way. Alex and Maggie (the previous owner's daughter) found each other in book one. This book is about Lucas (a surgeon) and Sara, who he hires as a helicopter pilot. There were times I thought Sara needed to grow up and not act like a baby. But none the less I really enjoyed watching their relationship grow. Nice side story that her dad messed up his knee in an accident and Lucas (great surgeon that he is) was able to repair the damage to his leg. I enjoyed their attempts at first to keep their relationship quiet from the other main characters and owners from Deacon Field. So take me out to the ball game folks, I can't wait to read book #3. Malachi Coulter needs to find his true love too!

This is a great book. It's been on my TBR pile for a while, take my advice if it's on yours and start NOW! I love baseball, I love romance stories, and I love a rich confident alpha. Hello, perfection! This book grabs you from page one. No slow start to wade through or difficulty learning all the secondary characters, this is enjoyment from the start masterfully doled out at pace that keeps you reading. Maggie expects to inherit the reins to her fathers MLB baseball team, instead she completes her degree, returns home just in time to learn her father is selling to another bidder. What?! Enter team Alex. Alex and his two best friends have endured much, they all started with baseball in their blood but eventually went into different and successful careers. While Alex and Maggie fall in love, questions abound about her future role with the team, can she work with team Alex, and if someone else could sabotage their bid to buy the team. No bad language, a little great sex, wonderful characters madly in love, and a HEA. Read on!

I loved this story! Yes the mystery was great, yes the romance was great, but the supporting characters and well developed personal stories really did it for me. Margo is stuggling to find her way in a department where she's just been promoted and now in charge of her fellow officers. Cole returns to the department having previously worked the case, but now as a consultant. Everyone is trying to find their place and Cole and Margo realize they are still in love. One of my favorites. Enjoy!

I absolutely loved this book. It had all the elements that I look for, entertainment that starts right on the first page and holds you to the edge of your seat the entire time. Action, adventure, romance, and characters it's easy to love. It also has strong secondary characters and team players. I picked this one up because I came across a copy of Midnight Pursuits and LOVED it, so much that I had to back up and start the series from the start. I was not disappointed, I've loved both books in the series (although this is the first of the series), and I am currently reading the second one. I plan to read them all, until I get back to Midnight Pursuits (#4) which I will re-read before anxiously awaiting book 5 (Jim Morgan's story) like everyone else.

This book is about Jim Morgan's team of mercenaries that specialize in rescues/extractions. They are sent in to recover an assassin (Abby), who convinces Kane (Jim Morgan's second in command) that they should continue with a rescue mission she set out on. She had allowed herself to be captured in order to save some girls from human trafficing and wasn't all that pleased that Morgan's team "rescued" her. Once she convinces Kane, and then the team to take on her mission, the romance ensues. Abby is a very damaged woman with a past that lends itself well to the isolated work of an undercover assassin. It is difficult for her to enter a relationship, but the author has really worked out an ideal pair here. It is easy to pull for these two, and very satisfying in the end. The introductions to the rest of the team are amazing, these are all strong characters and I can't wait to see each of them get their own story. So off to the next one ... Midnight Alias. Thank you Elle Kennedy!!

The Pediatrician's Personal Protector (Delancey Dynasty, Bk 2) (Harlequin Intrigue, No 1243)

I'm a big Hqn Intrigue fan, but I really enjoy Mallory Kane's books. I read "Double Edge Detective" first, about Reilly's twin Ryker and loved it. The characters and even the storyline flowed nicely into this book, I enjoyed seeing several of the same characters, but this is definately Reilly's story. (and the end was not predicable) More glimpses into the Delancey family in this book and I can't wait to read more in this series ... I know they are coming. Mallory Kane just got promoted to my definate buy list. Enjoy.

Small-Town Moms: A Dry Creek Family \ A Mother for Mule Hollow (Love Inspired)

Two separate but connected stories. Two sisters separated by the foster care system have reunited and set out to visit the 2 children of their third sister who is dead. The children are in the custody of their individual fathers. Each story depicts difficult situations for the kids having lost a parent and involves the adults returning to their faith after hard times and trying to establish strong family units. I really enjoyed both stories and enjoyed the brief merge at the end where all parties were present. Happy Mother's Day!
